Headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut, Computer Alternative Processing Sites, Inc. (“CAPS”) was founded in 1995 with a focus on disaster recovery/business continuity services with data centers & workstation facilities. CAPS has since expanded its product mix into Colocation services, Managed Services and disk to disk data backup services. Our solutions incorporate “people mobility and IT infrastructure” into one first class facility. CAPS provide customized, flexible and scalable solutions for the entire enterprise for the purpose of running real-time production and/or as a disaster recovery/business recovery site. Our facilities incorporate all the infrastructure of the “Best of Breed” data centers, i.e. redundant power, with our Power Distribution Units (PDU’s), Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) & Generators to support an ongoing operation in times of power failures. We also house a number of the leading telecommunication vendors at each of our facilities to allow our clients a choice while offering redundancies. CAPS is SAS70 Type II compliant (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) and our statement letter is available upon request. We just completed our 4th consecutive year (March 31, 2012 – April 1, 2013).
