How long have you been in business?
We started in 1904 as Augustus M. Walbridge, Inc. In 1929 Mr. Walbridge sold the business to Simpson and Vail and they incorporated it as Simpson & Vail, Inc. at that time.
What is your primary product or service?
Specialty teas, herbals and coffees.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My family purchased the company in the 1970's and growing up in the business I have always been fascinated by the interesting history surrounding the world of teas and herbs.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In addition to our teas and coffees, our herbal line is quite extensive. We have recently added a line of "yoga" teas that is unique to the tea/herb industry.

From Route 84 East or West:
Take Exit 7 to Route 7 North. Get off at Exit 12 (Rte 202) and make a right off the ramp. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Station Road. At the end of Station Road, turn right onto Laurel Hill Rd. Take the third left onto Quarry Road. Simpson & Vail is the 2nd business on the right.

We are a family run business. The principals are Joan & Jim Harron and 2 of their children, Jim Jr and Cyndi.

Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm (closed on Saturdays in July & August)
